We do have a selection committee, but they are judging your website and it's compliance with our requirements, not your jewelry. The guild sponsoring JAD has a website at WireJewelryArtists.org and a public bulletin board at http://forums.wirejewelryintl.org/tool/mb/wjaintl. We use the public bulletin board to post information you need to know about JAD prior to applying and joining. You do NOT have to be a member of the International Guild of Wire Jewelry Artists to participate. You do NOT have to join the guild the guild at any point - you can stay a non-member and just pay a fee for JAD membership. However, if accepted, it costs the same to participate whether you join the guild or not, so you might as well join and have access to the members only area of the guild's website. The business information in that area is geared to all art jewelry - not just wire.
